Plainly put.

Your lists.
Your device.

The RepeatReady privacy policy.

The short version

RepeatReady is an offline checklist app from Rook & Button. It has no user accounts, advertising, analytics, or internet permission. Through the app, we do not collect or receive your checklist content, device identifiers, or usage data.

This policy describes the Android app. Our website privacy policy explains website visits, the browser demo, and email contact.

What stays on your device

List names, items, notes, check marks, appearance choices, reminder schedules, completion counts, and saved history snapshots are stored in the app’s private storage on your device. The app uses this information to provide its checklist features.

Backups and sharing you choose

Automatic Android cloud backup and device transfer are disabled for RepeatReady data. Export backup writes a JSON file to the location you select in Android’s file picker. Import backup reads the file you select and adds copies of its lists and saved history. Imported reminders remain off until you enable them.

Share as text passes your chosen checklist to the app you select using Android’s sharing controls. Storage providers and receiving apps handle that data under their own policies. RepeatReady does not upload your lists to a developer-operated server.

RepeatReady does not encrypt exported backup files. Choose a storage location you trust and protect the file according to its contents.

History, retention, and deletion

Clearing checks, finishing a run, removing an item, or deleting a working list can save an independent history snapshot. Deleting a working list does not erase its earlier history. Use Delete record or Clear history in History to remove those records. Undoing an action reverses the history record created by that action too.

Uninstalling the app or clearing its Android app storage removes the app’s private data, including saved lists and history. Exported backups and shared copies remain wherever you placed them and must be deleted separately.

Reminders and the home-screen widget

Optional reminders use local Android notifications and notification permission. The widget and notification controls can display list or item text outside the app; your Android privacy settings apply. Reminder schedules are restored after a device restart. These features do not send list data to us.

Google Play purchases

Google Play processes purchases under Google’s policies. RepeatReady does not access payment-card details. Google and the developer may receive transaction information associated with a purchase through Play’s merchant services; the app itself does not collect payment information.

Questions or requests

Rook & Button is the studio responsible for RepeatReady. For privacy questions, email privacy@rookandbutton.com. For app support, email support@rookandbutton.com.

We cannot retrieve or remotely erase a checklist stored only on your device. The deletion controls above let you manage it directly. If you email us, the information in your message is handled as described in our website privacy policy.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s practices change, we will update this policy and the in-app disclosure. The date on this page identifies this version. The current policy covers RepeatReady 1.2.0.
