RepeatReady / Help
Good questions.
Useful answers.
A few practical details about lists, history, reminders, and backups.
Read the app privacy policyIs RepeatReady available yet?
RepeatReady is being prepared for Google Play. A release date and final price have not been announced. Email hello@rookandbutton.com if you have a question about availability.
What happens when I reset a list?
The working list becomes ready to use again, and a saved snapshot goes into History. Resetting checks does not clear earlier history. You can open a record later or restore it as a separate working copy.
Does deleting a list erase its history?
Deleting a working list saves a snapshot and leaves earlier history in place. To remove a saved record, use Delete record in History. Clear history removes all saved history. Undoing a supported action also reverses the history record created by that action.
How do I move my lists to another phone?
Use Settings → Export backup, and choose a location you can access on the new phone. Install RepeatReady there, then use Import backup. Imported lists and history are added as copies; imported reminders stay off until you enable them. There is no automatic cloud sync.
Will my lists survive uninstalling the app?
Uninstalling RepeatReady or clearing its Android app storage removes its private data, including lists and history. Export a backup first. Copies you exported or shared remain in their chosen locations until you delete them separately.
Why did a reminder arrive late?
Check notification permission and the reminder schedule, then review Android battery restrictions for RepeatReady. Android may delay reminders because of battery settings or device behavior. Use another reminder method for anything time-critical.
Do I need an account or subscription?
No account is needed. RepeatReady is planned as a paid download with all built-in features included and no app subscription. The app has no ads or analytics. Google Play handles purchases under its own policies.
Are there limits on saved data?
The current app supports up to 100 working lists, 250 items per list, 10,000 history records, and 16 MiB of saved data. These limits do not automatically delete old history. Export a backup and deliberately remove data you no longer need if you reach a limit.
How do I report a problem?
Email support@rookandbutton.com. Include your phone model, Android version, RepeatReady version, what you expected, and the steps that led to the problem. Screenshots can help, but remove private list content before sending them.
Keep private details private. You never need to send us a password, payment-card number, or a complete personal checklist to start a support conversation.
